As part of its effort to preserve history and touch communities, the Blackburn Family Association hosts reunions every few years in various locations across North America.
The family has thrice traveled as a group to Ireland to visit the ancestral homeland. Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, has been a particular favorite for family members given the immigrant Blackburn ancestors settled about ten miles north of there in 1736.
