• The Blackburn Book is called "Blackburn and Allied Descendants of John Blackburn, Sr., who came from Ireland to Pennsylvania in 1736." Published in 1978 by the late Evelyn Gibson. Currently out of print.
   
• The Blackburn Family Association Reunion is held every 2 to 5 years. Past reunions:
